Inspirational Gospel Music Channel Mourns the Passing of Ms. Peggy Sanders

It is with profound sadness that the Inspirational Gospel Music Channel announces the passing of Ms. Peggy Sanders, beloved mother of the Channel's CEO. After a lengthy but courageous battle with cancer, Ms. Sanders peacefully transitioned at the age of 72, surrounded by family and friends.
Ms. Sanders was a woman of deep faith, remarkable intellect, and a generous heart for service. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to ministry by teaching Sunday School, preparing meals for the sick and elderly, and conducting outreach to incarcerated men and women. Her devotion to community service left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond her ministry, Ms. Sanders was a pioneer in business. After retiring from Michelin Tire North America, where she faithfully served in various roles for more than 30 years, she pursued her entrepreneurial dream. At age 50, she founded the renowned Southern Angel Catering Company, specializing in traditional soul food entrees that became a celebrated staple in upstate South Carolina.
Known for her many gifts, Ms. Sanders was also a talented gospel singer with a rich contralto voice that blessed many worship gatherings. She shared 54 years of marriage with the late Rev. A.L. Sanders, standing as a shining example of love and devotion.
"Ms. Sanders embodied a life of faith, perseverance, and service," said a spokesperson for the Channel. "Her legacy will continue to inspire not only her family but also the many lives she touched through her work, ministry, and music."
The Inspirational Gospel Music Channel extends its deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. The Sanders family asks for continued prayers as they journey through this season of grief.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Ms. Sanders' memory are encouraged to make a gift to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation by visiting https://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/donate/.
