Pat Barrett Announces Fourth Studio Album, "I've Got a Fire," Out October 3rd

GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter Pat Barrett announces his fourth studio effort, I've Got A Fire (Bowyer & Bow / CCMG). The all-new, full-length endeavor will release Oct. 3, 2025, and fans can now pre-add, pre-save and pre-order the album here.
I've Got A Fire breaks the mold of the worship leader's previous artistic work with a video and audio palette that is colorful, vibrant, fun and tenderly introspective. "For me, these have been the songs that have challenged, encouraged and moved me along in my faith," Pat Barrett says of the selections he handpicked for the bold collection. "These songs have filled my house with music, my mouth with singing, and - most importantly - my heart with worship. I hope they do the same for you."
Barrett has already begun previewing the project with previous releases: "Praise The Lord Forever" in June and "I've Got A Fire" in August. The title cut, which continues to grow in weekly streams, has swiftly resonated with listeners thanks to the song's heartwarming music video that features Barrett's spunky, endearing father - watch here. The highly respected singer-songwriter offers another glimpse into his upcoming record with today's release of "Hard Part Of A Dream" - listen here.
"Five years ago, I'm not sure I would have put this song on an album. It's one of those songs that I felt was just for me. However, songs have a funny way of getting under your skin and into your heart. It's the song I've played the most around the house, the song I've sent to the most people, and the song that feels the most personal to share,"
Barrett says of the raw, inspiring ballad. "It's about the belief that the dreams in your heart are there for a reason and that they are worth the blood, sweat and tears to pursue. Dreaming a dream is the easiest part; seeing it through is what makes it so hard...with no guarantees, that's the hard part of a dream." Barrett is set to share fresh originals from I've Got A Fire throughout the fall and into 2026 as he supports Brandon Lake on his "King of Hearts Tour." The massive arena run starts Oct. 2, 2025, in Sunrise, Florida, and is scheduled to make 50 stops before concluding May 2, 2026, in Lake's hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.
