Aryn Michelle Weaves a Tale of Faith with New Single “Red Cord (Rahab)”

Award-winning Christian singer-songwriter Aryn Michelle invites listeners into the story of redemption with the release of her latest single, "Red Cord (Rahab)," available now on all streaming platforms. Inspired by the biblical account of Rahab-the brave woman who sheltered Israelite spies and became part of Jesus' lineage through her faith-the song powerfully captures themes of courage, salvation, and the enduring promise symbolized by the scarlet cord.
Serving as the first glimpse into her upcoming concept album, BLOODLINE, "Red Cord (Rahab)" continues Aryn's tradition of crafting thought-provoking, scripture-rooted music. BLOODLINE is set to release throughout 2025 and 2026 and will feature songs that bring to life the stories of the women in Jesus' genealogy, co-written exclusively with female songwriters to honor their voices and legacies.
Aryn Michelle (born Aryn Michelle Calhoun) is an acclaimed artist known for her lyrical depth and conceptual projects. With a background in classical music from Southwestern University and an award-winning songwriting education from Berklee College of Music, she has been recognized as TexasCSA Songwriter of the Year, Gospel Music Association Female Artist & Writer of the Year, and winner of the 2022 SongDoor Grand Award. Her previous albums, including Depth, The Realest Thing, Pariah, Pilot Light, and Wild Beautiful Dangerous, have cemented her place as a unique voice in Christian music.
