Andy Mineo Announces Departure from Reach Records After 14 Years

Celebrated hip-hop artist Andy Mineo has officially announced his departure from Reach Records, concluding a fruitful 14-year partnership with the genre-defining Christian hip-hop label.
Mineo, known for his authenticity, lyricism, and cultural influence, took to social media to share the news with fans, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the label that first took a chance on him. "They believed in me when nobody else did," he wrote, reflecting on his journey with Reach.
Since joining Reach Records in 2011, Mineo has released a string of acclaimed projects, including Formerly Known, Heroes for Sale, Uncomfortable, and Never Land II. His 2018 viral hit with Lecrae, "Coming In Hot," became a global anthem, amassing over 80 million streams and earning RIAA Gold certification.
With his eyes now set on a new creative path, Mineo will move forward as an independent artist under his own imprint, Miner League. His next project is already underway-a sequel to the fan-favorite collaborative mixtape Magic & Bird with longtime friend and collaborator Wordsplayed.
"This is not the end-it's a new beginning," Mineo shared. "I'm excited to build something of my own and create freely. There's a lot more to come."
The departure marks a pivotal moment not only in Mineo's career but in the broader landscape of faith-driven hip-hop, as one of its most distinctive voices steps into a new season of independent artistry.
