Pat Boone Returns to the Billboard Chart After Nearly 50 Years

Pat Boone, the 90-year-old singer and entertainer, is experiencing a notable resurgence in his career. Boone has re-entered the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart after nearly 64 years with his latest single, "ONE - Voices for Tanzania."
"ONE - Voices for Tanzania," has achieved a remarkable milestone by debuting at No. 30 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. This entry marks Boone's return to the chart after nearly 50 years, with his last appearance being in 1975 with the song "Indiana Girl"
This achievement sets a new record for the longest span between appearances on the Adult Contemporary chart-63 years, 8 months, and 3 weeks-surpassing previous records held by artists like Dean Martin and Nat King Cole .
"ONE - Voices for Tanzania," is a collaborative anthem aimed at supporting clean water initiatives in Tanzania. Released on March 21, 2025, under his Lamb & Lions Records label, the song features contributions from notable artists such as Vince Gill, Alabama, Lee Greenwood, and Larry Gatlin.
The project aligns with World Water Day and seeks to raise awareness and funds for essential services in Tanzania, including food, healthcare, and education. A generous donor has pledged to match all contributions dollar for dollar, effectively doubling the impact of each donation.
