Winds Of Winter Release Date, News And Chapter Information: George R.R. Martin Confirms That He Will Stop Writing For The Game Of Thrones So As To Concentrate On His Book
There is finally some good news on the release date and chapter information for the lovers and followers of the novel sequence, 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and to be specific the 'Winds of Winter' novel. The 'Winds of Winter' is set to be released in 2015. George R.R. Martin told Vulture that he would not be writing another episode for 'Game of Thrones' season 5. He expressed his intentions to stop writing for the game of thrones so that he can focus on writing his book, the Winds of Winter, during San Diego Comic-Con 2014. When asked whether he would be visiting some of his shooting locations, he replied, "I don't know. I might make it over there early next year, but I've got to finish the book 'The Winds of Winter', so I am making the trips I'm already obligated to make, but I'm not adding any new trips at this time. So I don't think I'm going to do a set visit this year, sadly." When he was further asked whether he would be writing an episode for 'Game of Thrones' season 5, he said, "Not this year, no once again because I have a book to finish." This might be bad or disappointing news for the fans of 'Game of Thrones' while it might be exciting news for the followers of the book series. It is always good to know that he has not forgotten entirely about the Winds of Winter book. He said, "So I need to write faster. The last two books took a really long time, so I'm hoping this one will go a little faster. But I make no promises. I found out long ago that when you look at the overall task, the cathedral you have built, it looks so daunting that you just give up and sit down and play a video game."
It is a good thing and very good news actually for the book readers as George R.R Martin will be cutting down on trips and other distractions so that he has enough time to write the Winds of Winter book and make it in good time. He, however, refrained from giving an actual exact release date as it has backfired in the past and he did not want the same for this.
