Avatar 2 2016 Release Date, Trailer, Plot And Reports: Shooting Confirmed To Commence Early Next Year

There have been many reports on the Avatar 2 release date, trailers and plot. Chris Pratt, the new star will surely find it rough in the next couple of years as Jurassic World, in which he is featured, is set to come out in 2015 and he is also expected to be back for the 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' in 2017. This aside, what awaits Zoe Saldana is far much beyond this. She is Pratt's Guardian of the Galaxy co-star. She will not only be returning to the Marven universe, but she is also expected to be back for Star Trek 3 and Avatar 2, which is said to be the first of a couple of sequels. She obviously has a lot going on, but which project is ahead of all the other?

Zoe Saldana recently had an interview with Vulture at a Guardian of the Galaxy screening and they asked her how she is taking on her busy schedule and how she plans on going forward. Although she tried to humorously blame her agent, she said, "I do know that Avatar is coming first. It's been the one in line for a while now, and we're just waiting for Jim to give us the green light so that it can happen early next year. My backpack is ready!"

After she returns to Pandora for Avatar 2, 3 and 4, she also features in Star Trek and it is obvious that it is next in her line. It is sad that the film does not have a specific release date and it remains unsure about their new director who they chose, Roberto Orci. The very busy star Saldana has two more movies scheduled for this year. She will be joining fellow employee Mark Ruffalo in a small indie film called Indefinitely Polar Bear. The Avatar 2 trailer has been on YouTube for quite some time and fans have been given a short glimpse of what to expect. James Cameron, the director of the film is quoted saying, "Building upon the world we created with Avatar has been a rare and incredibly rewarding experience. In writing the new film, I've come to realize that Avatar's world, story and characters have even been richer than I anticipated, and it became apparent that two films would not be enough to capture everything I wanted to put on screen..."

Avatar 2 is scheduled to be released in December 2016.
