Bethel Music Garners Grammy Award Nomination with "Holy Forever" featuring Jenn Johnson & CeCe Winans
Bethel Music's powerful worship anthem, "HOLY FOREVER" featuring lead vocals by Bethel's Jenn Johnson and gospel legend CeCe Winans, has been nominated for a GRAMMY® Award in the category of "Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song." The full list of nominees was announced on Friday, Nov. 8, with winners set to be revealed during the 67th annual awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Inspired by a powerful moment at Bethel Music's 2023 Worship School, where Winans joined Johnson on stage, "HOLY FOREVER" has become a defining worship anthem since its June 2024 release. The song has resonated deeply with listeners, earning widespread acclaim and impressive chart success with more than 12M global streams to date. "HOLY FOREVER" declares the holiness and greatness of God -- the name above all names -- a message that continues to touch hearts globally. Listen to the song HERE, and watch the video HERE.
"A GRAMMY NOMINATION FOR HOLY FOREVER!!!! So cool," says Johnson (also co-founder of Bethel Music). She adds, "This song has been so special, and it was even sweeter getting to lead it with Queen CeCe!!! Congratulations to the other writers of this song-Chris Tomlin, Brian Johnson, Phil Wickham and Jason Ingram. Such an honor to witness it touch the hearts of so many people...all for the honor and glory of Jesus, the name above every other name!"
Winans adds, "'Holy Forever' is a song we will be singing years from now because it never gets old, and it reminds us of what an awesome God we serve. It was a pleasure sharing the stage with Jenn and I'm thrilled to see how many voices all over the world have joined us in singing about His holiness."
With a global reach that spans over 200 million listeners, thousands of churches using their music, and sold-out events like the Bethel Music Conference and Worship Nights, Bethel Music is one of the largest and most influential worship collectives in the world. Since its inception in 2001, the collective has released 18 albums, produced multiple Gold and Platinum-certified albums, and consistently reached the top of the Billboard Christian Music charts with powerful songs like "Reckless Love," "It Is Well," and "Goodness of God." Hitting a new stride over the last few years, Bethel Music has continually ranked #6 in the top 10 radio market share and their impactful music continues to resonate across the globe.
This recent GRAMMY nomination follows on the heels of the Bethel Music's wins during the 55th Annual Dove Awards, where "HOLY FOREVER" took home "Song of the Year" and "Children's Recorded Song of the Year." The worship collective is also gearing up for the release of its highly anticipated album, "We Must Respond," on Jan. 10, 2025. Recorded live at the historic Cascade Theatre in Redding, Calif., the project features new worship songs led by Bethel Music, alongside guest artists Abbie Gamboa, Brooke Ligertwood, and Aodhán King.
