“Radiating Joy: The Michelle Duppong Story” Coming To Theaters, Nov. 12
"Radiating Joy: The Michelle Duppong Story," a new documentary about a young woman who is a "Servant of God" (the first step towards Canonization in the Catholic Church), is coming to theaters across America for a one-day screening on November 12th, 2024. This film, directed by Danny Anderson, tells the inspiring story of Michelle Duppong - a vibrant young woman who sought to share the love of Christ with every person she encountered. Michelle lived a faith-filled and inspiring life before she died of cancer at the age of 31 on December 25th, 2015. In June of 2022, Bishop David Kagan of the Diocese of Bismarck, N.D. (where Michelle lived and worked), announced the opening of the diocesan investigation into Michelle's life and declared her a "Servant of God" (the first step towards Canonization).
Michelle's life bore witness to heroic suffering and a passion for inviting others to experience the transformative love of Christ; her legacy continues to inspire people around the world.
"Radiating Joy: The Story of Michelle Duppong" tells Michelle's inspiring story, including first-hand accounts of Michelle's life and legacy, and testimonies about the lives and people she touched through her life and example. This film premiered during FOCUS Catholic's annual SEEK Conference in January 2024 and has been shown at private showings throughout the year in North Dakota; Denver, Colorado; St. Louis, MO; and Washington, D.C. The film's wider release will take place on November 12th, 2024.
