Here Are the Lyrics to Crowder's "Even in EXILE"

Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Crowder announces 'The EXILE,' due May 31 via sixstepsrecords/Capitol Christian Music Group. Incredibly perceptive and timely, the twelve tracks make up the second album in a three-part trilogy that started with 'Milk & Honey' (March 2022). Pre-order 'The Exile' here.
This new single 'Even in EXILE' was recorded alongside Grammy award-winning producer team Ben Glover and Jeff Sojka. It follows the story of Moses to an extent. "Hope is not lost, hope is not gone, even in exile," says Crowder on Instagram. Listen to the song HERE.
Here are the lyrics:
VERSE 1
Stranger in a strange land
Wandering like a nomad
Nothing 'round here feels anything like home
Thirsty in a desert
Wondering if I'll never
Ever get back to where I belong
But
CHORUS
There's still a promise, there's still a song
There's still a rock where my help comes from
Hope is not lost, hope is not gone
Even in exile
Fire by night, cloud by day
God of all heaven gonna lead my way
No matter how long, still gonna praise
Even in exile
I'm marching on
VERSE 2
Got a miracle working Father
Moving mountains, parting waters
Impossible is just what He does
Got my hands up in the battle
Come what may it don't matter
I know this war is already won
BRIDGE
I'm marching on, I'm marching on
I will see the goodness of the Lord
I'm marching on, I'm marching on
I will see the goodness of the Lord
Even in exile
