Duck Dynasty Star, Willie Robertson, Releases New Book "Gospeler"
Willie Robertson, renowned television personality and advocate for faith, family, and the great outdoors, is set to release his latest book, Gospeler: Turning Darkness into Light One Conversation at a Time (ISBN 9781400338481. $19.99, Thomas Nelson) on May 14, 2024. In the book, Robertson guides readers on how to share the good news of Jesus unashamedly, while meeting people where they are in life (whether in a deer stand, a coffee shop, or in the hard parts of life), through everyday conversations.
"I've loved sharing the Gospel with people for as long as I remember," said Robertson. "I saw it in my house growing up and I believe that most people want to share their faith, they just think they don't know how. I've learned that all you have to do is care about people and want to give them an opportunity to hear the Good News."
Robertson believes that sharing the message of Jesus is one of the most important responsibilities believers have. In Gospeler, Robertson shares insights and strategies that he's learned over the years for boldly and compassionately sharing the good news with those around others. His passion for sharing the gospel shines through every page, and he transfers that same passion to the readers, empowering and equipping everyone to confidently share their faith with others and to be a light in a dark world.
Beginning with his parents' faith journey, Robertson's stories and lessons encourage readers to engage in gospel conversations with friends, family, and even strangers they meet along life's journey. Readers can expect to find chapters dedicated to various aspects of gospel sharing, including overcoming fear and hesitation, finding common ground with others, and navigating difficult conversations with grace and truth.
"There's one thing I know was passed on to me and I hope to pass it on too," continued Robertson. "It's the one thing that affects every single part of my life; the one thing that gives me joy when life gets tough, encourages me when I fail, gives me hope for the future. That one thing is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope that Gospeler will help others be ready to share the Gospel with anyone who needs to hear the message."
With authenticity, humor, and deep-rooted faith, Gospeler is a go-to resource for individuals seeking to deepen their evangelism and make a lasting impact for the kingdom of God, whether they're a seasoned evangelist or someone just starting to explore the idea of sharing with others.
Gospeler will be available for purchase May 14, wherever books are sold.
