The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is out which is good news for the Samsung Galaxy series lovers. Samsung has proved to be full of surprises releasing new products into the market every now and then. The release date, price and specs of the new Samsung device have now been confirmed and announced. The smartphone is now up for pre-order in the UK.

If you are impressed by the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, but would prefer a smaller version of it, then the Galaxy mini could just be the smart phone for you. Samsung has a tradition of launching a mini version of its flagship device a little later after it has launched the original one. And this time, it has not disappointed as it has stack to the plan.

Samsung has confirmed the various release dates of the Samsung Galaxy mini. It has been confirmed that it will be released in the UK on 7^th August. The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will be selling at Euro 389.95 which is slightly higher than the Galaxy S4 mini.

After there was some leaked information, it appears like some of the information was true as it is much of what we expected it to be when it comes to the hardware and the specifications. The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will feature a 4.5 Super AMOLED screen with a 720p resolution. This is a reasonable amount smaller than the 5.1 inch screen found in the full-size galaxy S5 and we can also note some improvement on the qHD resolution from the Galaxy S4 mini. The Galaxy S5 mini will run on Android 4.4KitKat and be powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. As per leaked information, it will be paired with a 1.5GB of RAM. The internal storage is set at 16GB and there is a microSD card slot adding up to 64GB or even more. It will also feature an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and an IR blaster and a 2100mAh battery. It is very similar to the Galaxy S4 but this time, it comes with a dust resistant and waterproof design.
