There is a big chance that you might have not heard of the OnePlus One phone, but the truth is that it is one of the competitors of Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2, LG G3 and other android devices. It has great features which could compete with these phones but surprisingly it comes at half the price. It is rumored that the OnePlus One phone was expected to be released on 22^nd July but there is no official announcement of this.

The OnePlus One phone runs a modified version of the Android Kitkat which will definitely excite the enthusiasts as it has an unlimited scope for customization. The phone also features advanced camera and gallery apps, which gives you the pleasure to make utmost use of the OnePlus One's 4k video recording capability. The phone also has improved privacy protection features which include privacy guard and SMS encryption.

When it comes to the hardware features, the OnePlus phone has a lot to offer. It beats the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z2 and LG G3 as it runs a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 graphics and 3GB of RAM. It also features a non-removable 3100mAh battery, which is only outdone by the Sony Xperia Z2, a 13mp Sony Exmor IMX214 13 Mp camera, a large 5.5in full-HD touchscreen and dual LED flash. The front camera has been primed for selfies at 5Mp. The video recording stretches to 4k with 120fps and the slow motion is available at 720p.

The Oneplus phone does not come with a memory card slot for storage expansion. But we can look past this given that the 64GB model is around half the price of the iPhone 5S, which is the only other smartphone flagship with 64GB storage which comes as standard. OnePlus claims that its OnePlus One smartphone is the leading industry design and superior built quality. We are waiting for the OnePlus One Smartphone- we just hope that the killer specs of the phone will still be intact when it comes to the market for sale. OnePlus says that it's so confident that it will cut out the middlemen as it is developing a pre-order system.
