Brady Jones Joins the Kingsmen Quartet
The Kingsmen Quartet are excited to welcome 19-year-old bass vocalist Brady Jones, from Morgantown, Kentucky. Jones joins 56-year bass veteran Ray Dean Reese, as the two bridge the gap between the quartet's 68-year legacy and its ever-bright future.
Baritone and stage manager Alan Kendall shares, "We met Brady when he was still in high school, and we were blown away by his gift. His desire to sing was evident then, and it's even more evident now. Not only is he a fine bass singer, but he is a gifted musician as well. We cannot wait to introduce this multi-talented young man to fans across the country."
Jones replaces Drew Laney, who resigned on November 15, expressing his desire to spend more time at home. Kendall continues, "Drew entered our group mentoring under Ray Dean Reese, but as Ray began having some minor health problems, Drew soon found himself at the front line of the quartet as Ray began enjoying some much-needed rest. His genuine heart and talent won fans over very quickly. While we are sad that Drew has chosen to end his full-time career in music after a year and a half with us, our lasting friendship with him will continue. We will miss him, and wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Ray Dean Reese shares, "I am now 84 years old, but I am still very active with the Kingsmen. I still work in our office every day, and although I have scaled back my stage appearances, God is not finished with me. I will continue making select appearances as long as God allows me to do so. My son Brandon is doing an outstanding job as our manager, I am blessed with yet another great quartet, and I am thrilled for the future of the Kingsmen."
Jones began with the Kingsmen on December 29, and looks forward to meeting fans and friends across the country.
