Hunter Hayes Interview & Sneak Peek at 'Country's Night to Rock', Watch Here (VIDEO)
Hunter Hayes has released a interview and video sneak speak for the upcoming CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock 2014 that will air on Tuesday, August 5th @ 8pm Est on ABC.
The 22-year-old musician shares about his experience at the festival in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this summer, "The coolest thing about it is, as big as it is, it's centered around creating a direct connection [of] artists to fans."
Hunter added, "You have all theses superstars and so many things that they have to do and crazy schedules and all this stuff. This is the week arranged specifically for the artists to make sure they get to say hey to the fans. The connection with the fans is the best part of the music and this is where it all comes together."
The popular Grammy nominated country artist just finished up a very successful 2014 'We're Not Invisible Tour' Spring Tour. The tour kicked, March 20th, in Pikeville, Kentucky and ran through May ending up in Estero, Florida on May 31st. Joining the "I Want Crazy" singer were special guests Danielle Bradbery and Dan + Shay. Bradbery, 17, was the Season 4 winner of NBC's hit singing competition "The Voice" under the mentoring of coach Blake Shelton. At the finale, Hunter Hayes joined Bradbery on stage to perform his hit song "I Want Crazy" and they had a great chemistry while performing. Fans have been wondering when they would perform together again and now they will get to share a whole tour together. The tour was presented by Child Hunger Ends Here.
Hayes released his self-titled debut album in 2011. It reached number seven on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Country Albums, and has sold over 1.1 million copies. Its most successful single, "Wanted", has sold over 3.5 million copies and made Hayes the youngest male artist to ever top the Billboard Hot Country Songs. His second studio album, Storyline, was released on May 6, 2014 and was led by its first single, "Invisible".
