Natalie Grant Teams Up with CeCe Winans on "My Tribute (To God Be The Glory)"
Nine-time GRAMMY-Award nominee and Curb | Word Entertainment artist Natalie Grant has released a powerful cover of "My Tribute (To God Be The Glory)" with the incomparable CeCe Winans. The career-defining song, originally by seven-time GRAMMY Award-winning gospel singer and songwriter Andraé Crouch, was first released in 1972 and quickly became one of the most well-known songs in his catalog.
Earlier this month, Grant performed at the 54th Annual Stellar Awards on BET, honoring Winans as the most decorated female artist in all of gospel music. "My Tribute (To God Be The Glory)" is now available HERE.
"Andraé Crouch albums were often spinning on our family record player when I was a child. He was truly a legendary artist, and I think this song is one of the greatest songs ever written," shares Grant. "I have also been listening to CeCe Winans since I was 11 years old. No other artist has had a more profound impact on my own art. To sing this song and these words with one of my heroes is a life-changing moment for me. I've always felt like CeCe embodies the words of this song in not only her music and ministry but also in her life. It has been my prayer to do the same."
On October 6th, Grant will release her latest album, Seasons. The 10-track album features Grant's own twist on songs that have made a lasting impression on both her life as well as her illustrious career. To create Seasons, Grant invited some of the top artists in their genres to join her including Dolly Parton on Whitney Houston's "Step By Step," Mary Mary with their first re-recorded version of the smash hit "Shackles (Praise You)," Tasha Cobbs Leonard on Paul Simon's "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and her mother and daughters on Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love."
The first single from Seasons, "You Will Be Found" with Cory Asbury, has resonated with audiences around the globe with over 20 million global on demand streams and is currently #3 on Mediabase Audience Chart, matching Grant's highest charting Billboard Airplay career single, "King of the World." Seasons can now be pre-ordered/pre-saved/pre-added HERE.
In addition to the release of Seasons, this Fall Grant and her husband will extend their wildly popular "An Evening with Natalie Grant featuring Bernie Herms" tour. Tickets are now available HERE
