Kanye West Works Double Time to Get 2014 Album out by the Fall While Reworking his Songs to Suit a New Reinvention
Following the tour of his last album Yeezus which was not the most successful, the rapper is back in the studio making a new one this year. The previous album did not make the best hit in the market and probably did not get promoted enough, but who needs that when you're Kanye West. One of the producers for the album confirmed that he is indeed back in the studio and working very hard to finish the latest album. Rubin, who was his producer for the previous album stated in an interview that Kanye consulted with him on the tracks which did not have vocals at the time and after some deliberation, he asked him when he thought he would be done with the new follow up to Yeezus.
In Rubin's mind he had already calculated a year till the finish and release of the album, but Kanye said something in the neighborhood of 5 to 6 weeks. That would mean he would have to work double time on the project. At the same time, he is also re editing his work making it more to his changing tastes. If there is something that Kanye West knows a thing or two about it is how to reinvent oneself in order to get results. According to the Guardian, he is currently reworking the album to make it less beautiful. He probably meant he wanted it to sound more authentic and raw.
According to an interview with GQ, the rapper stated that he had originally intended for the album to be out by the summer, but had to rearrange his schedule to be with his family as well as his Adidas shoe line. At the present, he has not yet named the album but that would be mute at this point as things should gain a fast tempo toward the end of the year. He gave September ad the possible release period, but the safe bet is by the end of the year.
