Mass Effect 4 Delayed Release Date as Bioware Re-Masters Series: Different Plot with New Villains
Mass Effect 4 Delayed Release Date as Bioware Re-Masters Series: Different Plot with New Villains
At the E3 2014, Bioware released the Gameplay presentations for "Mass Effect 4" and of course the fans went wild. However, other than that there is no information concerning the game or its release date. At the same time, the presentation did not actually feature any actual gameplay which suggests that the release date for Mass Effect 4 is still a long way away. There are reports from Inquisitr that Bioware is remastering the entire series for 'Mass effect' and that means that the release date is going to be pushed back up to 2015. A spokesperson from the development team of the project stated that it began in 2012, and right now they had just passed the halfway point. That would place the estimation of the release date to be somewhere in the fall of 2015.
As such, Bioware will be using some of the tools which were specifically created for the "Dragon Age Inquisition" that was for Mass Effect 4. More details about the game will be provided at the E3 2015. Chris Priestly, who is the community manager, had some things to say about the upcoming version. Apparently, the Commander Shepard trilogy has come to a conclusion and the next Mass Effect game is not going to feature the character. As for picking a really good spin off, he rebutted stating that games do not have to feature a continuation or side plot or sub plot, or even characters that are familiar.
Bioware is definitely looking to do things quite differently from Bioware Edmonton since it took the spin off rights from them. Hence, they are looking to add new enemies to the plot and provide zero links to the past adventures. Part of the spoilers for the game includes the fact that Shepard's friends will not be joining, but humans and Krogans will be returning. The setting of the new installment will also be in a different region of space this time.
