Francesca Battistelli Releases New Single "He Knows My Name" (Video)
GRAMMY®-nominated Francesca Battistelli has just released her second single from her latest album "If We're're Honest," "He Knows My Name." "If We're Honest," having spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1, is one of this year's best selling Christian albums. The single follows Battistelli's No. 1 hit from the album, "Write Your Story," and already has an impressive 50 stations supporting it in its first week at radio.
Co-writing the song with Seth Mosley and Mia Fieldes, Battistelli shares, "I love this song. To me, it's an anthem. How many of us feel defined by what people say about us? But God calls us by name. His words for us are: chosen, free, forgiven, beautiful, wanted, loved. THAT is the only voice we should be listening to."
Gathering "Most Added" acclaim at Christian AC and CHR radio, as well as the largest increase in spins at CHR, "He Knows My Name" is playing on KLOVE, AIR 1, KTIS (Minneapolis), WRBS (Baltimore), FISH (Portland), WFHM (Cleveland), KJNW (Kansas City), WONU (Chicago), FISH (Nashville) and many more.
