Luke Wareham Teams Up with New Wine Worship's Chris Sayburn for "Jesus is Holy"
UK worship leader and songwriter Luke Wareham will be releasing his brand new single "Jesus Is Holy" on 15th July. On this new single, Wareham has teamed up with gifted worship leader and songwriter, Chris Sayburn. The song is part of Luke's new 5 track EP Pure Heart that is out on 12th August, produced by Dan Stirling, mastered by Tim Gosden and distributed via Wings Music Group.
The EP will feature collaborations with Chris Sayburn, Donna Akodu, Lou Fellingham, Marc James and Michelle Lutz. Luke's prayer in releasing the songs is that they would help people to have life changing encounters with Jesus, that connect them to the heart of God for their life and that the songs will speak into everyday life situations. Ultimately his hope is that the songs will draw people to Jesus.
"Jesus Is Holy" was birthed in a winery in Redding, California whilst Luke's friend Matt Holman was on a ministry trip with some friends to Bethel. Matt came to Luke with the concept of writing a song based on some prophetic pictures he had and Luke worked on the idea.
The song is inspired by various truths from the book of Isaiah --- the nature of God, his everlasting promises and how significant we are --- beyond comprehension. Isaiah says 'See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland'. And this verse sums up Luke's prayer in releasing the song which is that as you listen you will encounter more of the life giving presence of God.
"Jesus Is Holy" will be available to stream and download on all music platforms and the new lyric and acoustic videos will be on Luke's YouTube channel.
