The new LG G3 is the latest addition to the LG family of smart phones. Well this phone has come with a lot of features. This brings up the question on which between the LG G3 and its predecessor the LG G2 is better. Well it is common knowledge that all phone companies make their latest phone better than its predecessor however, sometimes there are features that make you prefer the older model over the new one.

So now, let us compare the two and see what they both have to offer. The new LG G3 comes with a bigger screen than the LG G2. The LG G3's most important feature is its screen. It has a QHD screen which is the same as four 720p screens being joined together. This gives the phone a high pixel density that counts to 538ppi hence making it far shaper than any other phone in the market. Now, compared to the LG G2 screen that has a more conventional 1080p resolution screen the LG G3 is much better, though the LG G2 screen is also really nice and perfectly sharp.  The most noticeable difference between the two phones is the size in which the LG G2 has a 5.2 inch screen while the new LG G3 has a 5.5 inch screen. 

When it comes to performance the LG G3 is more powerful than the LG G2 now even though they both use Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm the G2 has an 800 chip while the G3 has an 801 chip. Each of them have the same sort of optimization with the same core structure.

As for the battery the LG G3 doesn't have a much higher capacity battery than the phone it effectively replaces. While the camera basic specs of the LG G3 is more or less similar like the LG G2. They both have LED flashes, 13 megapixel sensors and optical image stabilization. However the LG G3's camera sensor does come with a laser auto-focus feature that the LG G2 lacks.

When it comes to style the biggest difference between the two phones is that the LG G2 is plastic while the LG G3 is faux metal. The LG G2's back is completely sealed in place hence not giving you access to the battery while the G3's back cover is removable and hides the microSD memory card slot which is not available in the LG G2.

Well, all these features make the new phone by LG,the G3, better than the its predecessor.
