Jamie Kimmett Offers an Update About His Health After His Car Accident

Scottish singer and songwriter Jamie Kimmett was involved in a major car accident in August while he driving home from a concert in Arkansas. He was hit by an 18 wheeler truck and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. Kimmett has offered an update about his current situation.
After being in the hospital for an extended time, Kimmett updates fans about his condition now. "I am so grateful for every one of you who have sent encouragements and supported my recovery through this page. Here is a quick update on my health and medical bills. I am happy to say that my breathing and chest pain is greatly improved since the accident.
The majority of lacerations and bruising are now mostly healed- my teeth and jaw feel normal again. Praise God! Thats the good news. Sadly after 8 weeks i am still unable to play guitar or have full use of my left hand due to the injuries on my thumb and a deep cut between my index and middle finger. There is also some limitation to the overall motion of my left hand which i am doing exercises for. I have some lingering stiffness and pain in my neck. There is healing in these areas but it has just been a slower process. I appreciate your prayers and i'm still believing God for a full recovery."
Kimmett also plans on releasing new music and a free online concert once he recovers fully.
You can help Kimmett by visiting his GoFundMe.
Kimmett has already a staple at radio with his first top 10 radio hit, "Prize Worth Fighting For," and he's making a name for himself on the road. He's also shared the stage with Zach Williams and for King & Country, and is now on tour with Casting Crowns through the fall.
Yet, Jamie Kimmett's story is a unique one. He's been honored to work with some of the biggest names in the music industry - Steve Porcaro (Toto band member, songwriter of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature"), Randy Jackson ("American Idol"), Babyface (Al Green, Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars) - and he sang on demo tracks for Michael Jackson. He was even offered a coveted record deal, but he turned it down.
