Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Starring in New Movie 'By The Sea' Together, Written/Directed/Produced by Jolie
Angelina Jolie will sit in the director's chair once again for an upcoming project, but things will be a little different this time around. She'll be directing her fiancé Brad Pitt and starring alongside him as well.
The new movie from Universal will be titled By The Sea and be produced by Jolie and Pitt together.
Jolie released a statement that said:
"I am very happy to continue my relationship with Donna [Langley] and the entire Universal team as I finish 'Unbroken' and begin work on 'By the Sea.' They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker."
The film will mark the A-list pair's first onscreen reunion since their 2005 on-screen debut with Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
PEOPLE confirmed a few weeks back that they would shoot a movie in Malta for about eight weeks. It was not positive that this filming was for By the Sea, but the Mediterranean setting would be a perfect fit for the title.
By the Sea will be Jolie's third time in the director's seat following her debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, and Unbroken which releases Christmas Day 2014.
Brad Pitt is starring in the upcoming American action-drama war film Fury. The new movie that is based at the end of World War II. Pitt co-stars with Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, Jason Isaacs and Scott Eastwood. Fury is set to release to theaters on November 14.
