Citizens and Mission House Team Up for a Stunning Version of "Revelation Song"

Citizens collaborate with Jess Ray and Taylor Leonhardt from Mission House on a rendition of "Revelation Song" for REVERE Holy Place. "Revelation Song," written by Jennie Lee Riddle, has lyrics adapted from Revelation 5. The song first gained exposure on U.S. Christian radio through a Christ for the Nations Institute recording, "Glorious" in 2004, as well as on Gateway Worship's debut album, Living for You in 2006, and subsequently included on Kari Jobe's self-titled album. It was later released by Phillips, Craig and Dean as the first single off Fearless.
REVERE's social media stated: "Bringing a new perspective on a classic worship song, 'Revelation Song' featuring Citizens and @Mission House, We filmed 'Revelation Song' in this gorgeous empty sanctuary at Scarrit Bennett Center in Nashville. A classic worship song but with our own take on it featuring stunning violin, keys and nylon string guitar. Just pure and simple worship."
Citizens and Mission House re-introduce this classic hymn to a new generation. The beauty emerging from Mission House's Taylor Leonhardt mesmerizing folk vocals and Citizens' emotion-filled interpretation make their interpretation a "must hear."
Randy Phillips of Phillips, Craig and Dean once said about the song: "This song captures the moment of looking up into Heaven, peeling back the curtain of eternity so we can peek in. If you keep your eyes on the Dow Jones or nuclear weapons in North Korea, you'll always be nervous. Look to the awesomeness of God instead."
