Marvel Comics Announces the Arrival of the Goddess of Thunder as Thor is Now Feminine!
Marvel rearranged their plot again with the role of Thor being transformed from male to female in the new comic book run which is supposed to come in October. This is the second upset since the role of captain America now transfers to Anthony Mackie in the captain America franchise. Marvel calls the woman who is poised to replace Thor as a brand new feminine hero. This dispels the conclusions that many had jumped to concerning Angela that happens to be a warrior angel who appears a lot in Guardians of the galaxy. The reason for this change is that apparently, the comic book version of Thor becomes unworthy of Mjolnir, and it flies away from him to a new host carrying along with it the title as well.
For those who are already wondering what it means for the movies, you have nothing to worry because they comics and movie world do not sync up. The other thing is that Chris Hemsworth will never be out of job as far as Marvels is concerned. After all, the comic version spoiler shows that former Thor will be holding a battle ax-perhaps a new magical toy as consolation for the demotion. But things generally go back to the norm after some time and the writers are sure to offer the hero a chance to win back the honor of Mjolnir.
The other thing the writers want to clarify is that the female Thor is not to be perceived as his counterpart of side kick that takes the hammer when he is naughty. She is not Thorita or Lay Thor. She is Thor in a way that we have never seen and cannot anticipate. The replacement of the male role to a female ne could be a stint by Marvel as it has been evening things out gender wise even with other super hero franchises.
