Sinach and Maranda Curtis Bring New Light to 1 Cor. 15:57 with "We Prevail"
Sinach, the writer and original performer of the worship music favorite "Waymaker," has released a brand new single from her forthcoming album. This time, Sinach has teamed up Gospel music's Maranda Curtis for "We Prevail." Listen to the song HERE.
"We Prevail" is a worship anthem that speaks of the victory we have in Jesus Christ. The chorus was inspired by 1 Corinthians 15:57, which says; "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Sinach expresses her joy and excitement in working with Curtis. On social media, she writes: "I had the joy of featuring my friend and sister, the amazing Maranda Curtis @marandacurtis on my album; Greatest Lord." The feeling is mutual as Curtis herself reveals: "I'm humbled to be a part of such an amazing album! Thank you @therealsinach for asking me to be a part!"
The song is taken from Sinach's upcoming album Greatest Lord, which releases on the 2nd of April.
Here are the lyrics:
You're the hope that holds me, stronghold to shelter me
My great confident assurance, the only God for me
You're the hope that holds me, stronghold to shelter
My great confident assurance, the only God for me
I'm hidden in Your strength, oh Lord, my God, most high
Your hands of faithfulness keeps on shielding me
I'm hidden in your strength, oh Lord, my God, most high
Your hands of faithfulness keeps on shielding me
You are my hiding place, You are my hiding place
You are my hiding place, You are my hiding place
My salvation, You defend me
Your massive arms protect me, your word is my shield
My salvation, You defend me
Your massive arms protect me, your word is my shield
Triumphantly, I bring my offering of praise
Singing and shouting in glory and joy to You
Triumphantly, I bring my offering of praise
Singing and shouting in glory and joy to You
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
You are my hiding place, You hide me
I have prevailed, I have prevailed
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
I have prevailed in You, I have prevailed in You
