Shannon Leto Arrested for Being Under the Influence While also Having a Traffic Warrant for no License
30 seconds to Mars drummer Shannon Leto, Jared Leto's brother got himself into trouble when he was arrested on Monday 16th June for suspicion of driving under the influence. According to reports, the drummer was pulled over by the police at 7pm after his car stalled at Fairfax Boulevard. The details are yet to be released officially though police say that he was showing signs of impairment and decided to take him in. the 44 year old was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department and was subsequently booked for DUI as well as a misdemeanor charge.
Unlucky for him, he also had an outstanding traffic warrant for driving without a license which was also the case when the police got him on Monday night. As a result, the bail has been set at 5000 dollars for the DUI and 2500 for driving without a license. In addition for being the drummer for 30 seconds to Mars, he is also the brother to Oscar winning actor and singer; Jared Leto's. This comes in the view of 30 Seconds to Mars European leg for the "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" tour run and this is currently taking place finishing this month.
Nobody has any business being behind the wheel of a vehicle, but for Shannon this is unacceptable behavior on two counts. He did not have a license and was apparently intoxicated enough for police to notice and that takes a lot by the way in one of the busiest cities. He could have gotten himself or someone else hurt. The other thing is that he is the big brother. Though, the Leto's do have a wild side too.
