Morgan Evans Brings Us Back to His Childhood in Australia with New Christmas Single

Morgan Evans is channeling his childhood this Christmas, opting for a bouncing acoustic guitar and warm keys on his version of Mariah Carey classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

"I honestly can't think of a song that consistently makes me feel as good as 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' makes me feel," Evans said. "In my version, I wanted to make it feel like Christmas felt to me growing up in Australia - it was at the beach, it was catching up with friends, it was all the family coming back to the hometown and catching up around a bonfire. It was really laid back, and I think after this year we could all use a little more 'laid back' in our lives."

When not putting his signature touch on holiday favorites, Evans is occupied with his Country Wide Radio show on Apple Music. The singer / songwriter brings shares his global perspective on country music every other week, showcasing performers from all over the world. Both hail from his critically-lauded debut album Things That We Drink To, which took home the award for Best Country Album at the ARIA Music Awards in Australia.
