The Whitfield Company Announces Virtual CD Release Experience November 27th

Celebrated Two-time BMI and Stellar Award-winning Songwriter and Producer Derrick Starks took to social media to unveil the cover for the highly anticipated release of The Whitfield Company as well as to offer up details about their upcoming virtual CD release online experience.
"God bless the memory of the Maestro, Minister Thomas A. Whitfield. This is faith becoming sight", says Starks. "God placed in my heart a desire to record this wonderful group of singers in Tommy's memory. The Whitfield Company is a class act, this choir is certifiably an American treasure; they are celebrated by music lovers all over the world and we can't ever forget the impact Thomas Whitfield made on Gospel music.
I am a recipient of his wisdom and instruction, and of course, I am not alone. We all carry a piece of him with us and TWC wears it so very well. This means a lot to me as it is the first full project on my label, Starks Music Group and I am filled to overflowing that God has graced us to see this come to fruition. If we weren't in pandemic, we would have a huge celebration and all come together, but through the auspices of technology, we get the chance to share in this momentous occasion through virtual observation. I am filled with so many emotions, but in high rank are excitement and gratefulness."
Coinciding with Starks' 50th Birthday on November 27th, The Whitfield Company Virtual Experience will feature music from the new project including the single, "Trust" featuring Larry Whitfield. The song has been most endearing to audiences all over the country as it rapidly moves past the top 100 and headed into the top 50 on the BDS radio chart.
"Trust carries a huge resolve for right now", says Starks. "As we face uncertainty and fear of what lies ahead, we as believers need to make the declaration daily that we are placing all of our trust in the God who is able to see us safely through it all. In spite of what happens, our answer is Lord, in You I Trist. Of the many attributes that we come to know about God is that He is consistent and faithful, He can be trusted."
