"`Tear Off the Roof'speaks to multiple stories in the Bible of healing," shares Lake. "I can't think of a better storyteller of Jesus than The Chosen TV series, so it made so much sense to team up and have their help in sharing the story of this song, which is based off of Mark Chapter 2 and Luke Chapter 8. Thank you to The Chosen for changing my life among millions of others. We pray this song reminds you of the healing power of Jesus!"
Earlier this week, Lake was honored at ASCAP's Christian Music Awards as Songwriter of the Year. Additionally, he is the most nominated artist at the upcoming Dove Awards with 11 nominations including Artist of the Year. Set to air October 20 on TBN, Lake will also take the stage for a performance. Continuing to celebrate album launch week, Lake will host a pop-up shop at L&L Market in Nashville, TN on October 16 4:00-7:00pm. The location features a giant mural of the cover art for COAT OF MANY COLORS, commissioned by Stephen Sloan of Never Xtinct Murals. For more information and to sign up click here.
Dubbed "one of the most sought-after artists in the Christian genre" by MusicRow Magazine, the first release off of the new album, "Praise You Anywhere," broke streaming records on Amazon Music. The single's first-day streams exceeded any other Christian artist ever on Amazon Music globally. It was also featured on the cover of Amazon's Worship Now playlist and had the #1 track in that list. Lake is currently captivating audiences on Lauren Daigle's The Kaleidoscope Tour set to be followed by his headlining Coat Of Many Colors Tour. For more information and tickets click here.
