"When life throws you curveballs it inevitably leaves you feeling hopeless. That bill, loss of a job, or even a diagnosis seems far too great to overcome. But there's good news- Jesus Has already overcome the world, sin, and death! We don't need to live in fear. We also know that whatever our father promises we can consider it already done. "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you" - John 15:7" - Joel Vaughn
ABOUT JOEL VAUGHN:
Joel Vaughn grew up in the church and dreamed of pursuing one vocation: To create music and lead people to Jesus. He never really thought of doing anything else- fast forward 25 years after the first time He sang a special in church and He's still going.
The son of a Bi-Vocational Pastor and a Worship Leader He learned to lead music while singing and playing with his 4 siblings. Joel earned a degree in Broadcast Communications with an Emphasis in Electronic Media and stepped back into music shortly after He finished college.
His sound continues to evolve with a tone that is uniquely set between sensible pop and smooth R&B vocals. With his first label signed EP "Kinetic" in 2016, He pushed His musical boundaries with production leaning toward Pop and EDM. He had always wanted to create music with that sound in mind but had never really tried. It was a success and that EP resulted in a Billboard top 20 hit with his first radio single "Wide Awake".
In 2017 Joel toured the U.S. on the heels of the success of "Kinetic" and with that momentum He released his second EP "Surrender". That release drew national attention with his hit single "As You Are". That song also charted as a Billboard top 20 hit. The "Surrender" EP was later nominated for "EP of The YEAR" in New Release Today's "We Love Christian Music Awards."
Earlier this year Joel was featured in the film "God's Not Dead: A Light In Darkness" while performing his song "Alive in Us" which also appeared on the Official Movie Soundtrack.
Joel has returned with a new single "Pray It Up", which is already running up the Billboard charts. It's a fun pop anthem that is a simple call to prayer that reminds us of the power that comes with consistent communication with God.
Joel's released the "Control" series seeing his largest growth to date with us audience. Now, with a new album in the can and releases of "I Would Be Lost" and "Already Done", Joel is setting his sights for a great 2021.
