Jewish Expert Josh Reinstein Explains the Evangelical Fascination with Israel in New Book

Releasing today, globally, is Josh Reinstein's long anticipated "explainer" of the unique relationship between Jews and Christians in the era of Donald Trump.
Reinstein draws his conclusions from decades of facilitating faith-based diplomacy between the Israel and Christian communities acquainting him with virtually every significant Evangelical leader in the world. As President of the Israel Allies Foundation and Director of the Knesset Christian Caucus, he was inspired to write the book after witnessing for himself the transformational power of Christian support for Israel.
Reinstein writes in Titus, Trump and the Triumph of Israel,
"In 2004, when I started the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, I aimed to get more people to start looking at Israel through a biblical lens in order to better understand the dynamics in the Middle East. My objective was to mobilize Christians' growing concern for Israel by creating a framework for political action. This initiative gained momentum, resulting in a shift from spiritual support into worldwide political support."
The book, released by Gefen Publishing, addresses the historic shifts in attitudes towards Israel, from the Roman emperor Titus who destroyed the holy city of Jerusalem and its temple, to U.S. President Donald Trump who fulfilled his promise to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, while relocating the United States' embassy there.
The book includes chapters on biblical Israel and modern Israel, the spiritual battle for Jerusalem, and the role of anti-semitism, while taking on the thorny theological and geo-political issues that have often caused Jews and Christians to speak past one another. It concludes with an in depth analysis of all the Trump administration has uniquely contributed to the State of Israel and the indispensable role of Evangelicals in those achievements.
"This book is a global phenomenon," said Ilan Greenfield, owner of Gefen Publishing. "In four decades we have never sold this many copies of a book before its release date. It is clear that people are hungry for this information."
Finally, Reinstein's book also highlights the perplexing contradiction, that while we are seeing the greatest support for Israel coming from people of faith, at the same time, we are seeing rising anti-Semitism throughout the world, reminiscent of the extreme hatred of the Jewish people from the 1930's. The book explains this paradox and offers a solution by delving into the power of faith-based diplomacy.
Reinstein's expertise is directly related to his two decades of personal experience working together with Bible-believing Christian Zionists who have proven to be Israel's firmest supporters.
"I am not surprised by the success of the book," said Josh Reinstein. "There are many books written from a political perspective on Israel and also many written from a Biblical perspective, but this is the first to mesh the two. Anyone who truly knows Israel understands that you cannot have one without the other."
Titus, Trump and the Triumph of Israel (Gefen Publishing) by Josh Reinstein is available now wherever books are sold.
