Mission House Releases New Album "I Heard A Song I Can't Ignore"

Integrity Music announces the release of the album I Heard A Song I Can't Ignore from creative Christian folk/rock worship duo Mission House. Comprised of Taylor Leonhardt and Jess Ray, the eight-song album is available now at all digital formats and is the follow-up to their self-titled EP released last winter.
"I Heard A Song I Can't Ignore is the way we imagine an answer to the question: what is still true even in the most difficult moments of our lives?" Leonhardt and Ray explain. "Now more than ever, we feel the truth of Jesus' words, 'In this world, you will have trouble.' There's no denying the struggle of being human. Yet it's precisely in the middle of that trouble that we hear His promise, 'Take heart, I have overcome the world.' There are these surprising gifts we find on our hardest days: comfort, peace, and hope that come from the presence of a God who walks with us through sorrow into joy."
I Heard A Song I Can't Ignore includes the previously released singles "Bet All I Have," "Good God," and their anthem "Behold." The album was written solely by Leonhardt and/or Ray, while Leslie Jordan joined them both to write "Take Heart" and "Good God." Additionally, a lyric video for "Never See The End" debuts today and can be viewed below.
The duo shares, "We are women, we are folk singer/songwriters and we brought all of who we are to this record, from the language we use to the way it sounds and feels-soulful, organic, memorable, and easy to listen to. It's worship music that is very much us. The truth is, this album was just so fun for us to make. From start to finish, from writing with each other to getting in the studio with our friends and bringing them to life, it was a joyful season we'll never forget. We hope this album carries that joy into the lives of every listener. And ultimately, we hope that we've created songs that are simple, singable, and true, songs for people to sing together."
Album Track Listing:
Your Eyes See Me
Bet All I Have
Good God
Where I Go (Feat. Antoine Bradford)

Never See The End

ABOUT MISSION HOUSE:
Born out of a community of friends gathered in living rooms and basements, Mission House's Jess and Taylor met five years ago in their hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. Both folk-rock singer-songwriters on their own accord, the two naturally became fast friends and began performing at shows together. Soon after, they started a weekly gathering around a simple vision: share a meal and worship together. It was through these gatherings that Taylor and Jess began writing songs they felt their community needed to hear, sing, and carry with them throughout the week. They released their self-titled EP last November, featuring "I Don't Have Much," which at press time has more than hit 1.5 million streams and is steadily growing.
"More than anything, we hope people find peace and joy in God," Leonhardt says. "I think music can be such a friend to us in both the good and hard times in life. We really want our music to feel like an actual room that people can walk into and encounter a real, living God."
