Myron Butler to Honor Andrae Crouch with Upcoming Album "My Tribute"

Multiple Grammy and Stellar Award winner, Myron Butler, honors trailblazer, and music icon Andrae Crouch with the release of an extraordinary new compilation album on June 26, 2020. Named after Crouch's famed single, "My Tribute," brings together talents from all genres affirming Crouch's immense influence in music. The album will precede a global online tribute event on July 1, 2020 on what would have been Crouch's 78th Birthday.
Crediting Crouch with moving Gospel music beyond the church walls, today's artists pay homage on "My Tribute," to celebrate the legend's life and legacy. The compilation is executive produced by Butler and is available for pre-order on all platforms today. "My Tribute," will be released on June 26, 2020 via Red Alliance Media, in advance of a historic online event on July 1, where fans, artists, musicians, and pastors will share their own individual 'tributes' to the iconic artist.
Butler, the brainchild of "My Tribute, " says "there are so many legends in gospel music that have directly affected the shape of our current musical landscape. One of the biggest architects of contemporary gospel music and the one who had a profound influence on me musically was Andrae Crouch!" "His musical impact transcended so many boundaries and touched countless lives. 'My Tribute' is my reflection, my homage to the life, legacy, and music of the genius that is Andrae Crouch #thisismytribute"
Andrae Crouch, passed away in 2015, was widely known as the 'Father of Modern Gospel music.' Along with his group, The Disciples, Crouch made an indelible mark on Gospel music, and among his trademark songs include "My Tribute (To God Be the Glory)," "Soon and Very Soon" and his first, "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power." Crouch transcended the Gospel genre with his work in pop, rock and contemporary Gospel music.
