St Aldates Worship Releases Live Album 'Until You Do'
St Aldates Worship has released its new live worship album 'Until You Do (Live)' in partnership with Bespoke Records.
"An album full of creative and passionate praise music... thumping beats and screaming praise guitars and a big, easy to pick up, chorus... the perfect example of how congregational worship should be done - rousing and uplifting worship that you just want to join in and be a part of. These songs have been thought about, musically and lyrically, and they have soul and passion in abundance."
Until You Do (Live) is a powerful collection of 13 songs recorded live in Oxford - an authentic blend of upbeat and singable praise songs ('Loyal In Your Love', 'Search The World', 'Come Awaken Us'), simple worship anthems ('You Restore My Soul', 'Set Apart') and more intimate expressions ('Come To The Water', 'Thank You'). This project was developed over nearly a decade of songwriting- a natural overflow and culmination of obediently seeing which songs have connec! ted with a local community, then sharing those with the wider church.
Tom Read shares about Until You Do (Live) - "I am so excited about this collection of songs and the journey we have been on as a community. This project captures just a small moment in the history of worship at St Aldates- I've been involved in my fair share of worship projects over the years, and this is the most excited I've been about a worship album in a very long time."
St Aldates Worship is the worship and creative team of St Aldates Church in Oxford, UK- led by Jamie Thomson and Lauren Harris (New Wine Worship) and including Tom Read (Worship Central). The church pens songs that faithfully serve the local community but demonstrate a deep marrying of theology, poetry and accessibility for the wider church- including modern classics 'You Restore My Soul' and 'Gravity'.
