NBC's hit singing competition show "The Voice" is off the air until the Fall for Season 7, but the new judges have released their first photo together on the official show Instagram account on Friday, June 20 (see above). The new talent that will be coming to big red coaches chairs for next season are producer/artist/songwriter, Pharrell Williams, fill the spot of Ceelo/Usher and Gwen Stefani, lead singer of No Doubt filling big shoes of Christina Aguilera (and Shakira) for Season 7.
The four coaches have started filming the blind auditions have been began sharing some of the behind the scenes on social media. Stefani tweeted "Working on the set" on June 17th and posted a picture of herself outside of "The Voice" studio.
Christina revealed she was pregnant earlier this year with fiancé Matt Rutler and she had to slow her schedule down for this year. NBC reportedly wanted Christina to stay on during her pregnancy, but she decided it would be too much for her to juggle. Christina is expected to return for the following season (Season 8), which airs in spring 2015.
"The Voice" has been able to keep up the success of the show through judging changes over the years with Shakira filling in two seasons for Christina Aguilera and Usher filling in for Ceelo. The judges chemistry is a big part of the success of the NBC reality show.
Many fans think this might be the most dynamic foursome of coaches on the show yet personality wise. "The Voice" has always had great chemistry between the coaches and we doubt Gwen and Pharrell will lack any whit or fire-power to be able to hang with the good hearted trash talking that always seems to take place between Adam and Blake.
You can tune in to all of the action when Season 7 of "The Voice" premieres on NBC on September 22, 2014.
