IMA Entertainment Announces New Signings
IMA Entertainment CEO David Brown continues his quest to build a roster of artists that represent Gospel music at its best. In addition to breakout artist Alaina Rose, Brown recently announced the additions of Simone Brown and Anthony Smith and Fully Committed.
Bridgeport native Simone Brown came to know the Lord at an early age and developed her musical gifts in her local church. Her innate ability to interpret and personify a song was instantly recognized by those who heard her, opening various ministry opportunities as she carried the message to the masses. Simone has shared the stage with both local and national Gospel artists. Recording opportunities followed, particularly with Phil Perry, Natalie Stewart of Floetry and most recently with Kevin Monroe & Devotion's latest disc produced by the late Edwin Hawkins.
"I believe this is God's time for Simone", stated David Brown, "and I am very grateful that IMA gets a chance to take her incomparable music ministry to a greater level." Saved, a new single produced by in demand producer and music director DJ Melodic Brown (JJ Hairston, Deon Kipping, Joe, Erica Campbell) is being prepped for release at the beginning of September.
The sheer joy of Choir music is celebrated in the presentation offered by Anthony Smith and Fully Committed. This lively and energetic ensemble brings added depth and dimension to the scripture mandate of making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Embracing their mission, they endeavor to touch lives and impact people to have a deeper relationship with Jesus, glorifying God in music and in daily life.
Anthony Smith prayed and sought the Lord before calling together a group of singers to form a new choral music aggregation. God placed his approval on their endeavors, and since their inception in 2009, Fully Committed has blazed a trail, traveling from churches to auditoriums crossing the region and performing with a venerable list of Gospel music royalty. They are set to take their rightful place as a reckoning force in Gospel music for years to come. David Brown comments on the choir's presentation, "The artistry and ministry of Anthony Smith and Fully Committed is second to none. This is what the world has been waiting on. I know that they are poised to make a mark in the Kingdom for the Glory of God." No More Chains, their breakout single, hits digital outlets in September.
