Illusionist, Evangelist Brock Gill's Feed The Dog Book From Lifeway Proves To Be Popular Resource
Celebrating 20-years of ministry, astounding audiences around the world with his edgy, daring and unique performances as one of this generation's leading illusionists, Brock Gill released his first book, Feed The Dog: 7 Spiritual Disciplines to Help You Grow in Your Faith, amidst acclaim last month though LifeWay Christian Resources. The 112-page paperback is currently on backorder at online retailers after quickly selling through supplies, but is available now on shelves at LifeWay Christian Stores, through Gill's webstore and on the Big Church Night Out Tour that features Gill, Newsboys, Sidewalk Prophets and others at major venues around the country through Dec. 17.
Featured by outlets like CCM Magazine, NewReleaseToday.com, Toledo, OH's WYSZ "Yes FM," and Chattanoogan.com, and highly recommended by Goodreads, JesusFreakHideout.com, Today's Christian Entertainment and others, Feed The Dog takes participants through seven faith-building disciplines to feed the spirit: prayer, scripture reading, fasting, solitude, worship, ministry and community.
In addition to this biblically-rooted, gospel-centered book, there is a companion Leader Kit that includes a DVD for group study featuring eight interactive video sessions complete with illusions and teachings by Gill.
"Feed The Dog surpassed our expectations right out of the gate and we're doing everything we can do just to keep up with the demand!" exclaims John Paul Basham, Manager Student Publishing, LifeWay Christian Resources. "It has always been obvious that God's hand is on Brock's ministry, but we've seen this in a whole new way while partnering together on his book. Ultimately my prayer is that student ministries around the world would use this resource to help their students understand what it really means to pursue the Lord."
"I am blown away by the response so far to Feed The Dog. Daily we hear stories of how God is using this resource," Gill tells those that are on his email list. "Thanks to your prayers, support and generosity, 2017 has been one of our most fruitful years of ministry in almost 20 years!"
With a passion for reaching people with the disciplines he puts into practice and the hope of the gospel that changed his own life, Gill has taken his ministry around the world. Before the end of 2017, he will have traveled to eight countries, performed at least 118 shows and shared the gospel with over 100,000 people with at least 2,600 people responding to that message, committing themselves to be followers of Jesus Christ.
"One week I'm at a chapel service at a college, the next I'm in Haiti, and the next week I'm on tour with the Newsboys," Brock shares. "Every time you see my show, wherever I am, something about it is going to be unique, because we're tailor making the material. The show is special every single time, and I love being able to tell people about Jesus this way."
