"Fixer Upper" Hosts Chip, Joanna Gaines Address Marriage Rumors; TIm Tebow Set to Appear on Final Season

Tim Tebow is prepping up for his upcoming appearance on the final season of the HGTV hit series "Fixer Upper." While there have been no announced details of Tebow’s task on the show, the St. Lucie Mets outfielder is expected to appear as a special guest, as reported by Deadline.
Other special appearances include former first lady Laura Bush, whose family ranch in Crawford, Texas is a short drive from Waco where “Fixer Upper” hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines reside and run their businesses.
"The 19-episode Season 5 will feature more families who look to the Gaineses for help evaluating and transforming a fixer-upper into the home of their dreams," Deadline noted.
The Gaines’ couple officially announced that “Fixer Upper” season 5 will be their last installment, as written in a post on their Magnolia blog.
"This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment," they wrote. "Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our businesses."
Aside from “Fixer Upper,” the Christian couple has been kept busy with their own line in Target stores as well as an upcoming cookbook. Chip and Joanna admitted that saying good bye to the show and their viewers had been a difficult process.
The Gaines’ also addressed rumors that the show’s ending has been caused by marital problems. Talking to TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie, Chip shared that the couple’s top priority is their relationship with each other and their four kids’ wellbeing.
"So we wanted to take a step back and focus on the thing that is the most important thing in the world, which is Jo and our relationship,” he added.
“We have this young, growing family and I just think that's one of the biggest reasons we wanted it to end,” Joanna also shared. She encouraged the show’s fans and viewers to follow her and her husband’s social media accounts and official blog to keep up with their latest updates and avoid erroneous information.
The final season of "Fixer Upper" is set to debut on Nov. 21 on HGTV.
