Ben Affleck Attends Church, Hangs Out With Jennifer Garner and Kids Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Ben Affleck started out his week by going to church, following accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior hurled against him by female personalities in the movie industry.
The 45-year-old actor arrived at the Community United Methodist Church in Pacific Palisades in California on Sunday. Meanwhile, his ex-wife Jennifer Garner also attended the service but arrived separately.
As pointed out by Us Weekly, the former couple “appeared to be in good spirits and sported smiles.”
The news comes a week after Affleck faced allegations relating to sexually inappropriate behavior. Following Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein’s controversy centered on decades of sexual assault, the “Batman V. Superman” actor also took time to speak out against Weinstein whom he formerly worked with.
However, fans of actress Hilarie Burton expressed their disapproval over Affleck’s actions as they took to social media and reminded the public that Affleck touched Burton during her teenage years when she worked on MTV’s “TRL” in 2003. Affleck then tweeted to issue an apology to Burton for his inappropriate behavior.
In addition, makeup artist Annamarie Tendler, who is currently married to comedian John Mulaney, had spoken out against Affleck who allegedly groped her at a party in 2014.
"I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my a** at a Golden Globes party in 2014. He walked by me, cupped my butt and pressed his finger into my crack," she told People last week. "I guess he tried to play it like he was politely moving me out of the way and oops touched my butt instead of my lower back?"
The “Justice League” actor has yet to issue a response to Tendler's allegations.
After tweeting the apology to Burton, Affleck and wife Garner, who separated in June 2015, were seen taking their children out for ice cream on October 12. On the next day, they were also spotted at a private event together in Los Angeles.
Affleck, who has three children with Garner, is currently dating “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus.
