Christian Vocalist Natalie Grant's Husband Praises God for Successful Thyroid Surgery, Final Results Set to be Released
Natalie Grant's husband Bernie Herms recently took to social media to announce that the surgery to get rid of potentially cancerous tumors from her thyroid "went perfectly."
"Hey everyone - it's Bernie, Natalie's husband," Herms wrote on his wife’s Facebook page. "She is awake and her surgeon said everything went perfectly. Hallelujah! God is faithful and kind. Thx for your prayers. We are so grateful for your love and support. We will update with news as we receive it."
With the post raking in over 62,000 likes, Grant’s fans and followers are expressing their keenness to continue praying for the contemporary Christian singer.
"Thanks for sharing this personal information with total strangers. As a fan of her music I am greatful she allows us a peak into y'alls life. My family is lifting your family to our Father in prayer," one fan commented on the post.
"Please bring her voice back stronger than ever," another follower wrote. "May her voice continue to reach others for You. We will give You all the glory and honor as she sings songs for You and to You again."
The 45-year-old singer announced the news of having to undergo surgery in a Facebook live video in September. She revealed that two tumors were found in her thyroid and went on to ask for prayers prior to the procedure.
“These are more than just fans to me,” Grant shared. “I have an army of prayer warriors around the world who have rallied with me many times through the years, and I know this time will be no different.”
The Seattle native also shared a video while on her way to the hospital through which she told the public that her heart was “full to overflowing with the encouragement and prayers” being offered for her.
Grant already postponed her performances from mid-October up to the entire month of November to attain full recovery from the surgery. She expects to obtain the final results from her doctors next week.
