Ed Sheeran & Christina Grimmie Perform "All of the Stars" on NBC's 'The Voice' Season 6 Finale, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Ed Sheeran was on hand as "The Voice" Season 6 had night two of their finale on NBC on Tuesday night as a winner was crowned in an extended two-hour finale. Sheeran shared the stage with Top 3 contestant Christina Grimmie to perform his new hit single, "All of the Stars." The two shared good chemistry and Grimmie seemed like a natural performing alongside her professional peer. You can watch their full performance above.
It was a night of celebrating the contestants with many of the Top 12 coming back to perform throughout the night and many special guest performances. Several of the performances throughout the Finale included One Republic singing their new hit song, "Til the Love Runs Out" and new country star Justin Moore singing his song "Lettin' the Night Roll." Ed Sheeran also performed his hit single, "Sing" with his band, Jake Worthington and Alabama performed their song "Mountain Music", while Josh Kaufman joined Robin Thicke to sing his song, "Get Her Back." Tim Mcgraw was also on had performing his song "City Lights" and Coldplay was the last guest performance of the night performing their new song "A Sky Full of Stars."
The final three contestants for the finale were Jake Worthington (Team Blake), Christina Grimmie (Team Adam) and Josh Kaufman (Team Usher). At the end of the night, host Carson Daly announced third place first, which was Christina Grimmie. So then it was down to Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman. After the moment of silence to build tension and get a good camera shot of remaining coaches Blake and Usher, Josh Kaufman ended up being crowned the winner, giving Team Usher his first win in his two seasons on the show. So far in six seasons on "The Voice", Blake Shelton has won three times, Adam Levine has won twice and now Usher has his first winning season in the books. Season 7 of "The Voice" will welcome two new judges to the show with Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, they will be replacing Shakira and Usher for the upcoming season.
