Ernie Haase And Scott Fowler Announce “Together Again” Concert
Ernie Haase, Scott Fowler, and Pure Southern Productions are proud to announce a special event for all Signature Sound, Legacy Five, and Cathedral fans in Birmingham, Alabama. "Birmingham has held a special place for all of us for many years", said Ernie. "When Glen Payne passed away we (The Cathedrals) were playing in Birmingham at the Boutwell Auditorium. That night is still one of the greatest memories I have in all my years of singing. The way those fans loved on us that night will never be forgotten."
"Together Again" brings fans two of Southern Gospel's most popular and storied quartets, Signature Sound and Legacy Five, for an unbelievable night of hit songs from the present and past. The concert will take place at the beautiful First Baptist Church of Trussville in a city rich in Gospel music history - Birmingham, Alabama.
Fans will all too well remember Ernie and Scott's time with the legendary Cathedral Quartet and will not want to miss this special evening of their favorite songs and old stories from two of Southern Gospels favorite personalities and quartets. Both groups will be performing their respective hits as well as collectively reaching back and singing the Cathedrals most beloved songs.
"Legacy Five was in Birmingham the day Roger Bennett went to be with the Lord", remembers Scott. "As Ernie mentioned, The Cathedrals were in Birmingham the day Glen Payne passed away. We have been through happy times and sad times with the people in the Birmingham area. We are family and bound together forever unlike any other group of folks. It's time for Ernie and me to come back and be with our family."
