Cana’s Voice Warmly Received at Dr. David Jeremiah’s “Stand Up Tour” DC and European Tours
Cana's Voice continues to impact audiences with performances and songs from their debut album, This Changes Everything. Recently, the trio traveled to Washington, DC for an appearance at the Verizon Center with Dr. David Jeremiah's Stand Up Tour. The overall message for the evening was to honor God and our country, through a deeper relationship and commitment in our faith with Christ. The program featured labelmate, Charles Billingsley, and the LU Praise choir and band from Liberty University. Besides joining the Jeremiah team on several songs, Cana's Voice was also featured with an a cappella rendition of "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and was joined by LU Praise for "Jesus Never Fails," which was given a powerful standing ovation.
Cana's Voice member, Jody McBrayer, relays the importance of the evening for all who attended."It was a privilege to be a part of such a special and timely event, as we have a great respect for Dr David Jeremiah. At such a pivotal time in our nation's history, it was an honor to be in our country's capital promoting the principles of Jesus Christ and the importance of prayer for the success of our nation. "
"Cana's Voice just filled up our stage and arena with their incredible sound! They are so good and so easy to work with," adds Dr. David Jeremiah, Founder and President, Turning Point Ministries.
Earlier this month, Cana's Voice embarked on a European tour that included appearances in Norway and Sweden. The powerhouse vocalists were met with multiple standing ovations that Cana's Voice honored with several additional songs as they kept returning to the stage. In the Sweden concerts, the group was joined by a 200-member choir as Cana's Voice performed for audiences of unbelievers. An incredible ministry happened each night, as the audiences lifted their arms in worship and shed tears of emotion for most of the evening. Besides providing a powerful music ministry, TaRanda, Doug and Jody shared their personal testimonies that displayed their scars instead of their trophies.
"As a promoter, who for years has worked with some of the finest Christian artists, I can truly say that Cana's Voice is one of greatest and most talented groups I have ever worked with," says Joakim Sunesson, Semnos Event Sweden. "TaRanda, Doug and Jody are highly gifted singers with true hearts for the Lord, and they are anointed for ministry. The impact and influence their songs and musical programming had on the Swedish audience was tremendous and outstanding."
Cana's Voice will continue with a heavy tour schedule that includes the TX Music Fest in Fort Worth, Texas on Nov. 4, the Mexican Riviera Cruise Nov. 12-19, and a special holiday performance, "Cana's Voice Christmas" with Ken Davis on Dec. 2 in Indiana. In January 2017, Cana's Voice will have a live video shoot at the group's performance at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
