Worship Leader Laura Hawthorne Releases New EP "Helpless"

Christian singer and worship leader Laura Hawthorne has released her brand new EP "Helpless." Hawthorne is a Christian music artist and worship leader from Wilmington, Delaware. Co-written and produced by 6 time Dove Award-winner, Don Koch, "Fearless" features 4 new songs.
The title track "Fearless", is a commanding, contemporary pop anthem for today's Christian music market. "Fingerprint of Me" is an inspirational adult contemporary ballad that reaches deep into the soul. While co-writing in Nashville, Laura and Don stumbled upon a unique lyrical concept for this song. What happened that day was nothing short of God's intercession as it developed into a profound and poignant song of mercy and grace. "Give Myself Over" expresses praise, worship and surrender to God. "I Belong to You" is an uptempo worship song with a cool groove that will inspire listeners of all ages.
Early on in childhood, while participating in Sunday worship services, she realized that singing was her passion. At 16, while attending a crusade, Laura gave her heart to the Lord. She became Miss Delaware Teen USA, appearing on national television and performed on the soundtrack for the pageant. She appeared in various media events and after attending college moved to New York City to pursue a career in music.
Laura's call to ministry came in April 2000, when her brother, Jay, fell and broke his neck in a terrible construction accident, leaving him a ventilator dependent quadriplegic. As a national anthem singer for the New York Mets, she had the opportunity to help organize the first Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day at Shea Stadium, performing a pre-game concert on the field honoring Jay and fellow special quadriplegic guests. Her brother has become her personal hero and her inspiration to sing and lead others to Christ.
Laura founded Livin In His Love, a music ministry, and has traveled nationally and internationally as a worship leader and speaker. Newly married, Laura and her husband Michael, lead worship at their local church and share their testimony in appearances throughout the country.
