Coming This Friday is the Biblical Epic Movie "Risen" (Watch Trailers Here)

Coming to the big screens this Friday is the Biblical empic movie Risen. Sony's TriStar Pictures is releasing into the theaters director Kevin Reynolds' Risen, starring Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love), Tom Felton (Harry Potter films), Peter Firth (Pearl Harbor) and Cliff Curtis (Fear the Walking Dead).
The Risen movie brings to the screen the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a powerful Roman MilitaryTribune, and his aide Lucius (Tom Felton), are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
Risen features a screenplay by Reynolds (Waterworld, Hatfields & McCoys) and Paul Aiello from a story by Aiello. The producers include Mickey Liddell, Aiello and Pete Shilaimon with Robert Huberman and Scott Holroyd serving as executive producers.
The creative production team includes Director of Photography Lorenzo Senatore, Visual Effects Supervisor Rafa Solorzano, Production Designer Stefano Maria Ortolani, Editor Steven Mirkovich, ACE, Costume Designer Onelio Millenotti, and music by Roque Banos.
