Gospel Artist Marcus McFarlin Releases "More" on Dream Gospel Records

Marcus McFarlin has just released his new Gospel album "More." This is first offering on Dream Gospel; it is about bridging the gap between young and old.
About Gospel music Marcus says "sometimes we get so caught up in the latest sound that we forget about the songs that encouraged us in our greatest trials; songs that our parents and grandparents grew up on". It is with this focus that Marcus deftly moves between the traditional and the cutting edge of Gospel music while retaining his hallmark vocal delivery. So what would all of these traits rolled into one CD sound you might ask? Marcus says: "You'll just have to wait and hear it for yourself!"
Marcus McFarlin, also known as "Elder Mac", is a young vocalist, producer, song writer and musician who loves to praise the Lord. Since the age of twelve, Marcus believed that God began to place victorious melodies and songs into his heart. As God began to elevate young McFarlin, he began to endure great test and trials.
Elder Mac's debut project, "Addicted to Praise", was released in August of 2011. The high energy, praise motivated songs have already begun to bless listeners across the country. Stellar Award winning artist, Pastor Marvin Sapp, describes Elder Mac as a "singer-extraordinaire". Elder Mac was also crowned as Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole's 2011 SMC (Singers and Musicians Conference) "Best Male Soloist". Elder Mac's skill for writing uplifting songs of praise was greatly displayed by his composition of "Come Bless the Lord" recorded by gospel recording artist Zacardi Cortez (album: "The Introduction" -2012). Marcus' latest single, "I'm Comin' Out", gained him National attention making him the Grand Prize Winner of UpTV Network's (formerly known as Gospel Music Chanel) 2014 Most Powerful Voice National competition.
His unique, powerful, and original style has allowed him to share the stage with many mainstream gospel and R&B artist such as Donnie McClurkin, Dawkins & Dawkins, Mary-Mary, Eve, Fabolous, Marvin Sapp, Mario, Dr. Bobby Jones, Donald Lawrence, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett, Vickie Winans and many more. He has made appearances on the Trinity Broadcast Network, TCT, Network, Uplifting Entertainment Network, The Dorinda Show, the world's largest gig known as Summerfest, African World Festival, Jam4Peace, and many churches across the states. This is only the beginning of what God has begun to do in the life of Elder Marcus McFarlin.
