Darlene Zschech Warmly Received by New Creations Church in Singapore

Darlene Zschech, who has had fronted Hillsong Worship as one of its pioneering leaders, was warmly received by New Creations Church in Singapore this passed weekend. This is the first time the Shout to the Lord writer has ministered outside her church since her bout with breast cancer eleven months ago.
Last weekend, Zschech was invited by New Creations Church's senior pastor Joseph Prince to lead the worship across its numerous services. One of the songs that Zschech led the church in singing was Bethel Music's "You Make Me Brave," a song that personally ministered to Zschech in her healing process from cancer. Thus, it was such a glorious sight to see her taking the stage as she sings: "I stand before You now/The greatness of Your renown/I have heard of the majesty and wonder of You/King of Heaven in humility, I bow."
The reaction of the Singaporean church was overwhelmingly positive. Across Twitter, worshippers have been raising their thumbs up. One church member writes: "The worship at New Creation Church, Singapore was so anointed today. Thank you Pastor Darlene Zschech!!"
"Really blessed to experience Praise and Worship led by Darlene Zschech. Awesome worship..."
"Surprise guest at NCC today, Darlene Zschech!!! So good to see her better and belting her heart out..."
"Oh wow! Darlene Zschech is singing in church today. Wasn't expecting that!!"
Darlene Zschech herself writes: "Such an honour to be with our dear friends at nccsg this weekend.."
In her own blog, Zschech does give us an update about her health. "Even though I'm a little bloated due to some of the drugs I now take, and my mind still gets a little fuzzy ( if you ask my children they will say .. 'don't blame that one on chemo!'), I feel so ALIVE with promise, that I just cannot wait to see what God has in store. Whether public or private, I am desperate for the NEW, so desperate to continue to fulfil His call on my life."
"Cancer changes you. I feel I am living and will continue to live with much greater intentionality. I am even honouring my body with more intention as every single day I am eating with intention (no sugars, loads of greens), I am resting with intention, and feeding my spirit in a deeper and 'unhurried' way. John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us life in all its fullness, and this is where I intend to live by the grace of God."
