Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Release Date, Villain And Latest Reveals: Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Confirmed With Groot Expected To Make A Come Back
We have the latest for you on the release date, villain and latest reveals of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. When Marvel recently announced the aggressive slate of titles, one of them that we already knew was Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Despite there being rumors that it will be titled War of Kings, at least there was a confirmation that it is still coming and a release date.
According to Comic Book, the film will be written and directed by James Gunn, who co-wrote and directed Guardians of the Galaxy. It will hit the theatres on 5th May 2017. The principle actors in the titular guardians will be returning including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bausista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. Josh Brolin is also expected to reprise his role as Thanos ahead of the character's appearance in Avengers 3.
Saying that Marvel and Disney are having a good year will be an understatement of the year with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy on the list of the top 5 highest grossing movies. In the first movie, we saw a band of heroes who were brought together by circumstances and end up saving the galaxy, losing only one member of their crew. Groot, Rocket, Quill and Gamora became very quick favorites of the silver screen. In the sequel rumors, we will finally find out who Quill's father really is. We can expect that there will be heavy flashbacks and that action from the talking raccoon which we love so much.
It is expected that Groot will make a comeback probably from that sapling or something; we know that Disney will surely find a way. There have been rumors that there is a new villain flying around. Although 2017 seems to be quite far, Disney and Marvel are known to be quite generous with information so we shall probably get some more leaks soon. Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Chris Pratt are all expected to reprise their roles. It is also expected that new and interesting characters will be showing up. The release date of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled for 28th July 2017. Stay with us for more news.
