Carrie Underwood New Album 2014 Release Date and Other Latest News: 'Greatest Hits' To Include Her New 'Inspirational' Single "Something in the Water"
American Idol alumna and country superstar Carrie Underwood has just recently announced that a new album is going on the way and will be released on December of this year.
The Carrie Underwood new album 2014, called Greatest Hits: Decade #1, will also contain her new single "Something in the Water" which is currently setting milestones in her career by topping charts and being a hit among fans.
Underwood shared: "The song is called 'Something in the Water' and it's going to be a single off my greatest hits album, which will come out Dec. 9...It's very uplifting." She further shared that "Something in the Water" is "about changing your life for the better and having that 'aha moment' to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward."
She hopes that the inspirational song will be able to uplift others who get to hear her music. "It's joyous! I can't help but smile when I hear it. I hope it has the same effect on everyone who listens to it."
The Carrie Underwood new album song list is not yet official, but what we can be sure of is that the Greatest Hits: Decade #1 will definitely showcase some of the singer's eighteen number 1 singles from her four previous albums. The upcoming album will include her hits "Before He Cheats," "So Small," Blown Away," and of course, "Jesus Take The Wheel," and a lot more.
The Carrie Underwood new album release date is on December 9, 2014.
